Orientation is just a few days away, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to campus! Please mark your calendars for Paterson Orientation on Monday, August 10.

To help make arrival and parking smooth for everyone, we have staggered our orientation times by grade level:

Pre-K, VPK, and 1st–3rd Grade: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

4th, 5th, and 6th Grade: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Kindergarten: 1:00 PM (Meeting directly in the Cafeteria)

When you arrive, please line up in the bus loop. Our friendly staff and Safety Patrols will be waiting to greet you and guide you to your classrooms.

We can't wait to see your smiling faces and kick off an incredible school year together!

The countdown to the new school year is officially on! We are so excited to welcome our amazing students and families back to campus. To help make your Orientation day as smooth and fun as possible, here is your ultimate game plan:

🖍️ Special Kickoff for Kindergarten Families!

Welcome to the family! Kindergarten families, you get to start the party early. Please head straight to the Cafeteria first for a brief, super-informative presentation by Mr. O'Brian and Mrs. Stokes.

🕵️‍♂️ Find Your Teacher!

The big reveal! Class lists will be posted in three convenient spots around campus. Check the walls at:

          The Media Center (facing the Kindergarten Building)

          The Breezeway wall

          The Cafeteria’s exterior courtyard wall

📚 School Supply Drop-Off

Want to lighten those backpacks for the first day? You can drop off school supplies during Orientation!

           Bring them to Orientation if your child is in: PreK, VPK, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade.

           Bring them on the First Day (Tuesday, August 11) if your child is in: 4th, 5th, or 6th grade.

💻 Need a Hand with Focus?

After you've visited your student’s new classroom and met their awesome teacher, swing by the Media Center. We will have tech gurus on hand to give you tutorial assistance and get you all squared away with the Focus portal.

🎪 The Stop-By-Before-You-Leave Zone

Before you head home, make sure to swing by the Cafeteria! It’s your one-stop shop to get fully connected for the year. You can visit:

CCDS Transportation Updates for the 2026–2027 School Year!

Clay County families, as we gear up for the first day of school on August 11th, here is what you need to know about bus transportation:

Bus Tracker App: Download the Chipmunk app today to view your child's bus stop locations, pickup/drop-off times, and real-time tracking. Log in using your BusPlanner Parent Portal credentials (sdcc.mybusplanner.com).

Practice Runs This Week: Drivers are practicing their routes August 3rd–5th. If you see buses on the road, school hasn't started just yet—we're getting ready for day one!

How to get logged in right now (It's easy!):

Download the App: Search for OneClay Focus in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Your Username: Your username is the email address you previously used in Synergy ParentVUE.

Create a Password: You will need to create a new password to activate your account. Open the app, click on "Forgot Password", and enter that same email address.

Log In: Check your inbox for a link to create your new password. Once created, use your email and new password to log right into the app!
