Dear Explorer Families,
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, the excitement is growing among our students, families, and staff! Our team is working hard behind the scenes, finalizing schedules, completing registrations, and making sure everything is in place for a successful start. We are counting down the days until Tuesday, August 11th, the first day of school!
This month’s newsletter is filled with important information to help your family get ready for a great year, including orientation dates and times, school supply lists, meal prices, and key details about arrival and dismissal procedures.
We are excited to welcome our students and families back and can’t wait to begin another amazing year together! Sincerely, Mr. Martin |
We know you are excited to find out your new teachers, but we are still registering and rostering students. Schedules should go live during the first week of August in the new FOCUS app. |
***Mandatory Dismissal Form*** |
We must have a dismissal form on file for each and every student. We will have them on site during Orientation and/or you may send one to school with your student on the first day of school! K-1 Dismissal Form

Car Riders & Parent Walk Up Pick Up Tags
|
OVE will be passing out new Car Rider and Parent Walk-Up tags for all students whose parent/guardian wish to have the option of picking up their child(ren) in our car-rider loop A or B or at parent walk-up (for Kindergarten and 1st graders). The new tags will be available at Orientation.
For the safety of our students, previous years' tags will NOT be recognized by our car-rider team, and has always been our practice. Any individual wishing to pick up a student without a car tag or parent walk up tag will be asked to park and visit our front office to show valid ID. |
State statute requires fingerprinting for any volunteer who participates in a classroom or school setting where left unattended or without staff supervision or who will chaperone students away from the supervision of CCDS staff. At OVE, parents do not work with students outside of the teacher's supervision, but if they wish to chaperone groups on field trips that may involve separation from the teacher, Level 2 Volunteer Clearance is required. Please click the link below for instructions for fingerprinting through Fieldprint
