Dear Clay County Parents and Guardians,

As we reach the final days of the 2025-2026 school year, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we have shared. From the first day of school in August to these final moments in May, our students have shown remarkable growth, resilience, and spirit. It has been an honor to serve this community throughout another successful year.

Celebrating Our Graduates and Families

This is a particularly special time of year as we celebrate the Class of 2026. To the parents and guardians of our graduating seniors: we share in your immense pride. Watching your children grow from their first steps in our classrooms to this monumental milestone has been a privilege for all of us at Clay County District Schools.

We recognize the years of constant support, the countless milestones, and the daily encouragement you have provided to help them reach this stage. As your graduates prepare to begin their next chapters, we celebrate not only their achievements but the families who stood behind them every step of the way. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

Monitoring Your Student’s Progress

As we wrap up the year, I know many of you are eager to see the results of your student's hard work on recent assessments.

State Assessment Scores: Detailed student reports for the FAST PM3 and End-of-Course (EOC) exams are available through the Florida Department of Education’s Family Portal.

Final Report Cards: You can view your student's final grades and report cards through Synergy ParentVUE starting on June 5th.

These reports offer a valuable look at your child’s academic journey and help us celebrate the progress they have made this year.

Welcoming the Class of 2039

If your student is returning to us next year, no action is needed to register them—they are already set for the 2026-2027 school year! However, we are already looking forward to welcoming our newest learners.

If you have a child starting Kindergarten this fall, or if you know a family new to Clay County, please encourage them to register as soon as possible. Registering our "Class of 2039" early is vital for our district's planning, ensuring every student has the resources they need on day one. You can begin the process at oneclay.net/registration.

A Summer of Rest and Enrichment

As we head into the summer break, I want to encourage all of our families to take this time to rest and recharge. While we hope our students find plenty of time for fun and relaxation, I also encourage you to keep the "learning spark" alive through summer reading or by exploring the many outdoor educational opportunities our beautiful county has to offer.

Respectfully,

David Broskie

Building a Safer Digital Future Together

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our "Connected & Protected: Safety in a Digital World" event in March! To keep the momentum going, we are launching an ongoing internet safety series in our newsletters to keep you informed year-round.

The digital world moves fast, and many apps that appear harmless are often used to bypass traditional safety filters. Developed in partnership with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, our "24 Apps Parents Should Know About" guide will help pull back the curtain on these hidden risks. We encourage you to visit oneclay.net/connected to access full resources and handouts whenever you need a starting point for a conversation with your child. Stay tuned for our next update as we continue to dive deeper into everything internet safety related. Together, we can ensure our students stay connected, protected, and digitally savvy.
