Tynes Tiger Families,
We are so excited to welcome you all back to school for the 2025-2026 school year!
I would like to offer a personal welcome to all of our new Tynes Tigers and their families. We are eager to meet you and have you as a part of our school community.

The safety of your children is a top priority for us, and it starts with getting your students to and from school safely. Prior to the first day of school, we ask that you complete this dismissal form. Note the form for kindergarten only is unique, and one form must be completed for each student prior to the first day of school. We will have the forms available at Orientation, or you may download and complete to bring with you to meet the teacher.
The cell phone/electronic device policy for Clay County District Schools aligns with state statute. The rule is from bell to bell electronic devices are powered off and put away out of sight.
Student schedules will go LIVE in ParentVue on Tuesday, August 5th at 10 am. Class lists and homeroom teacher information will also be available at Orientation. We are unable to accommodate individual teacher/class requests due to our size and other scheduling complexities. However, if there are concerns regarding your child's class scheduling (should be an accelerated class, needs ESE services, etc.) please contact us with those concerns and we will be in touch to make appropriate changes. Orientation for all students is Friday, August 8th. Note that 8:30-9:30 am is for kindergarten only, then all other students may visit campus between 10 and 11:30 am. This includes our multi-grade classes.
School starts on Monday, August 11th! ALL families are welcome to walk their child(ren) to the classroom for the first two days of school (August 11th and 12th). We will have a single point of entry at the front parent pick up gates where we will have both administrators and safety personnel monitoring the entrance. At 8:25 am, when the first bell rings, we will announce that it is time for visitors to leave campus and the gates will be secured.
On Wednesday, August 13th and Thursday, August 14th KINDERGARTEN families ONLY may walk their children to class. However, they will need to first check in at the front office with a photo ID to be scanned through our Raptor system and issued a visitors badge. Again, at 8:25, the gates will be secured, but all visiting kindergarten parents will need to check out through the front office and return their visitors badge before leaving. These safety protocols are part of our statutory requirements pursuant to Florida law.
We hope that having this information in advance helps you to plan your AM routine with your children and prepare them for what to expect during their morning routine.
If you need help or have additional questions, you may contact our front office at (904)336-3850. Monday-Friday 7:30 am-3:30 pm.
Thanks again for your ongoing support!
