Dear Manatee Families~
As we enter the second semester of the school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible hard work taking place at PES each day. Our students continue to grow academically and socially, and this progress is made possible by the dedication, commitment, and teamwork of our outstanding staff. It is truly a joy to walk through our classrooms and see teaching and learning in action.
Regular school attendance and arriving on time remain essential to student success. Each day of instruction matters, and being present and ready to learn helps students stay engaged, build strong routines, and reach their full potential. We appreciate your continued partnership in making attendance a priority.
Families are encouraged to stay tuned to our social media platforms, Apptegy/ParentVue and Wednesday folders, as we have many exciting upcoming events and opportunities planned for our students. These communications are the best way to stay informed and involved in all that PES has to offer.
As we begin the month of February—the month of love and kindness—we also remind our students of the importance of showing kindness, respect, and compassion toward others at all times. Together, we can continue to foster a positive, safe, and supportive culture and learning environment for everyone. PES truly is the place to be, and we are grateful for the continued support of our amazing school community!

| The "Cafeteria Boutique" is Fully Stocked! |
Is your student’s closet looking a little empty lately? Are you wondering where that favorite hoodie or brand-new water bottle disappeared to? Good news: We might have it! Our Lost and Found in the cafeteria is currently overflowing with items just waiting to be reunited with their owners. It looks a bit like a department store down there! How you can help: Check the Pile: Please encourage your student to stop by the cafeteria today to take a look. Label Everything: To make future reunions a breeze, please make sure all jackets, sweatshirts, and water bottles are clearly labeled with your student's name. If it has a name, it finds its home much faster!
Let’s get these items out of the cafeteria and back to your house where they belong! |

We are delighted to announce that Mrs. Kennard has been recognized as the Farm Bureau Employee of the Month!
Mrs. Kennard is a true blessing to the Paterson Elementary family. As an ESE Inclusion teacher, team leader and Intervention Team Facilitator, her devotion to her students is unmatched, driven by her deep conviction to help every child grow and learn in all aspects of their lives. Beyond her work in the classroom, she is a wonderful support system and a blessing to her colleagues.

Students may send Candygrams to their friends & parents/family members can send them to their students. We'll fill them out, attach a lollipop & deliver them for Valentine's Day. Candygrams are $1. Forms went home in your student's Wednesday folders. Additional forms can be picked up in the front office. |

The Paterson Elementary Parent Faculty Association (PFA) is thrilled to announce our $1,000 Alumni Scholarship. We want to celebrate and support one of our former students as they transition to college or university this coming fall.
Scholarship Details: Eligibility: Applicants must be former Paterson Elementary students graduating high school in 2026 and attending an accredited college/university for the 2026-2027 school year. Award Amount: $1,000 Deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026, by 3:00 PM.
