 Manatee Memo

April 2026

Admin Minute...

Dear Manatee Families~

As we enter the month of April, we are beginning our state F.A.S.T. (Florida Assessment of Student Thinking) testing, which will run from April 1st through May. This is an important time for our students to demonstrate the growth and learning they have achieved throughout the school year.

We kindly ask for your support in helping your child be fully prepared for each of their assigned testing days. Ensuring that your student gets a good night’s rest, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives at school on time will make a meaningful difference in their confidence and performance.

If you have any questions regarding testing schedules or expectations, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher. We are here to support you and your student every step of the way.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our PFA for the many amazing events they have recently sponsored. Your continued dedication, time, and support truly make a difference in creating meaningful experiences for our students and staff. We are so grateful for all that you do for our school community.

As we move into these final months of the school year, we encourage families to stay connected by monitoring our school’s social media and checking Wednesday Folders regularly. There are many exciting events and activities planned, and we don’t want you to miss a thing!

Thank you for your continued partnership and encouragement. We are proud of our students and look forward to seeing all they accomplish!

Warm Regards~

Mr. O'Brian and Mrs. Stokes

Manatee Families,

As our students prepare for the upcoming FAST tests in April and May, we want to remind them that they are ready for this! To help them shine, we invite everyone to focus on the "Big Three": a good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and arriving at school on time.

Remind your student to take deep breaths, stay positive, and walk in with confidence. We already know how smart and capable they are—now it’s their time to show it!

Rest + Nutrition + Promptness + Positivity = Success!

March Staff Spotlight: Congratulations to Mrs. Steinfurth! 🍎

We are delighted to announce that Mrs. Steinfurth has been named the Farm Bureau Employee of the Month!

Mr. Hollingsworth from Farm Bureau recently visited Paterson Elementary to present this well-deserved honor to our incredible 5th-grade math teacher. Whether she is crafting engaging lessons, coaching our Math Team, or serving on the School Safety Committee, Mrs. Steinfurth approaches every task with a smile and a "can-do" spirit. She is a dedicated collaborator and a true "multitasker" who is always ready to support our students, staff, and families.

We are truly blessed to have her as an integral member of our Manatee Family!
