Manatee Families, prepare for a spook-tacular spectacle at the 34th Annual Halloween Costume Parade!PreK - 3rd graders will parade through the Paterson campus to the rhythm of the ghostly beats and the Fleming Island High School drumline, while 4th-6th graders and PES families line the sidewalks to watch. All students, staff, and families are invited to wear a costume to school. Just remember, keep it school-friendly—no "weapons" or fright-inducing masks, please!

Please read carefully and see map below:

• The parade will begin at approximately 9:20 a.m. on the school campus.

• All Pre-K through 3rd grade students will participate by lining the building hallways and marching in the parade.

• Each grade level (PreK-3rd grade) will join the parade as the parade passes through their grade level building(s). The 4th-6th grade students will line the parade route and provide crowd support inside the school campus.

• Students will then exit through the South Parent Pick Up (SPPU) and Media Center gates, turn right and follow the path of the sidewalk until the pedestrian crosswalk at the entrance of SPPU off of Pine Ave.

• Students will turn left at the end of the sidewalk, proceed to the bus loop gates, and reenter the campus.

• Parents will be allowed to participate in watching the parade by standing and observing in the South Parent Parking Lot designated areas via map.

Only approved volunteers who have been invited by a teacher may enter the buildings or classrooms on this day. It is mandatory that all classroom volunteers check in at the Front Office before the parade begins and wear a Visitor’s Badge at all times while on campus.

Parking is limited, so please adhere to all traffic laws and only park in approved spaces. We ask that you do not park in our neighbor's yards or block driveways.

Parents wishing to check their student(s) after the parade must go to the Front Office and show ID for Early Checkout. The student will then be called up to the front office for dismissal. Early Checkout ends at 11:10.
