Friday (12/12)-

• Holiday Spirit Week- "Holiday Headwear Day"

On Dec 10th we will be placing "mini elves" all over our campus for our students to find. Any student who locates an elf and brings it to Mrs. Auguste's office will be given a prize.

We are excited to partner with OPJ Parents/Guardians to support your student's success! As you arrive for dismissal in the car line on Wednesday, December 10, we will be holding a special event to help you feel more connected and empowered. We will be handing out a take-home packet filled with valuable information. These materials are designed to highlight the critical link between daily attendance and academic success, and they include practical tips on how you can support your student's attendance from home. There will also be information about available school and county resources. We look forward to connecting with you!

Price will be going up in December.

OPJ will be partnering with The Clothes Closet of Orange Park again this year for a Coat and Shoe Drive. Last year we collected almost 3000 items! We will be collecting clothing items from infant to adult. The 1st period class with the most items donated will win a Holiday Party on Dec 17th. Students will bring items to 1st period and they will be collected each morning by WEB Crew leaders. Item Collection will take place starting Dec 1st-12th.

There will be a laminated paper in your box when you return from break to hang on your door to indicate if you need a pick-up. We won't come into your room to pick-up items if the hanger isn't on the outside of your door, to limit disruptions. 

Calling all creative writers again! The October scary short story contest was such a success that there is now a winter finish-the-story writing contest! Starting Nov 5th, students can visit the library Google Classroom for more information and to submit their story. Flyers are posted in the library and in all ELA classrooms. Please see Mrs. Kiem for more information!

Please note that we will not start our Holiday Spirit Week until Tuesday due to testing.

Administration will be gifting every Wildcat with a Candy Cane!!

Snacks will be sold during class change each day, since lunch will not be served on the half days. Prices will range from $1.00-$2.00 per snack.
