Happy New Year! We hope that you enjoyed the holiday season with your family.

Students return to school on Tuesday, January 6th. 

We have a great Literacy night coming up on Jan 27. The evening will be filled with lots of great activities to help support your child's reading development! Dinner will be provided to those who pre-register. Scan the QR code on the flyer located in this newsletter. We hope to see you there!

In January, students will participate in mid-year STAR and FAST Testing. It is important that students are here and on time on their testing days. Here are the following testing dates:

K-2:

Jan 8-20 (Each grade level will have different dates for testing; please reach out to your child's teacher for specific testing dates).

3-6:

January 13 and 15

We are extremely excited to announce that our wonderful school nurse, Mrs. Perry, has been selected as one of the Top 5 Finalists for Clay County School Related Employee of the Year!  We already know how wonderful she is, and we are excited that others have also recognized this! The winner will be announced at the Apple Awards on Jan. 22.

• The Clay County Title I Office sends this handbook to all Title I school families each year to inform you of your rights under Title I legislation. You will find this year's handbook linked below. The Right-to-Know handbook can also be accessed at any time on the Title I district website and your school's website under 'Title I Resources'. A printed version is available in the Title I Information binder located in your school's main office, and a copy may be requested through your school's front office.
