Family Newsletter September Edition

Lakeside Families

It's hard to believe that we are going into the 6th week of school. The students have done an amazing job of settling back into the routine of school. We have completed our first round of state assessments, and you should be receiving a copy of that report so you know how your student did. This would also be a great time to log into ParentVue and check out your child's grades

Thank you to all of the families that were able to join us for our Open Houses. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me or Mrs. Warner if you have a question or concern.

Safety Reminders

  • Gates will open at 8:10 to let students onto campus. Supervision is not provided before this time.

  • If students eat breakfast, they can come into the cafeteria at 8:00.

  • If you change the way your student goes home, please send a note to the teacher. If it is a last-minute change, please call the front office so the staff can get that information to the teacher promptly.

  • If an individual is not listed on your child's Synergy account, we will not release your child to that person.

  • We do not allow walk-ups at the Car line pick-up area. You will need to stay in your car with your car tag on the dashboard and move through the line.

  • Walker Gates are just that. They are for students who are truly walking home. Please do not park in the parking lots and walk over to the gate to pick them up. Walkers are the last group to be dismissed, as we have to wait until the buses have left the campus.

  • Please do not drop students off in any of our parking lots and have them walk to the gates to enter campus. This is extremely dangerous.

  • Safety procedures are in place to keep everyone safe. We ask for your cooperation with this!
