Principal's Message

We are well into the 4th Quarter already!  Keep up the hard work all the way through the end of the school year!

State testing is right around the corner in the month of May.  Please make sure students have strong attendance as we parepare in the final stretch.  Check the specific dates of each test below to make sure students do not miss their tests.  Please encourage them to put forth strong effort in their academics to growth their learning and create successful work habits.  It is very important to remind students they are not allowed to have any type of personal electronic device on them at all during testing.  If they do then their test could be invalidated.

We are in the middle of our P3 Challenge for the final push for strengthening their learning of the Benchmarks and practicing those test taking skills to build their confidence.  We have been rewarding students with incentives for for their strong efforts to be Present, Prepared, and Proficient as we head into testing season so they can make an extra push to be ready to show off their learning on their state tests.  We currently have additional supports for students during Tribe Time and after school to help with benchmarks where they may be struggling. During P3 we also have many extra supports in place to help students with specific needs.

As we push for a strong academic finish, please remind your students about the importance of making good choices. We often see an uptick in behavioral slips during this season; unfortunately, these choices can hinder classroom progress and lead to avoidable consequences. Help us ensure this remains a fun and productive time of year for everyone.

Check out upcoming dates and events below.  Also, take a look at the testing schedule that will be here before we know it.
