Message from Principal Reed |
CHE Parents and Caregivers,
As we approach Veterans Day, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the importance of this day and express my sincere gratitude for your incredible support of Friday's Veterans Day Celebration.
Your enthusiasm, coupled with the efforts of our awesome volunteers and the patriotism of our Bulldogs, made our event a truly meaningful and respectful tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. It was inspiring to see our students engage so thoughtfully and honor our local veterans. Thank you for helping us teach our children the value of service, sacrifice, and patriotism!
Things are not slowing down in the days ahead, so be sure to check out the content of this week's BARK! Don't forget there's COLD WEATHER AHEAD, STARTING MONDAY! We're looking forward to a wonderful week!
Warm Regards,
Adele Reed

Congratulations, CHE - School of the Month! |
Congratulations, Bulldogs! At this week's school board meeting, Clay Hill Elementary and Ridgeview Elementary were announced as Community First Credit Union's Schools of the Month for October, which focused on "Unity In Action."
Of the many submissions received, those representing Clay Hill Elementary and Ridgeview Elementary rose to the top among a very competitive field. Judges took note of the many ways that our schools build inclusivity and prevent bullying to ensure every student feels valued. Our schools will each receive $1000 for a school initiative and a trophy to put on display. Thank you, Team CHE, for your efforts in making our little school a shining star in Clay County!

November/December PAWS Points Fall Frenzy & PARTY! |
We are promoting good decision-making and strong character among our students over the next 4 Weeks with our PAWS Points Fall Frenzy! Students have individual point goals that they must achieve by December 12 in order to attend our PAWS Party during the week of December 8. Our team is recognizing students for putting forth a positive attitude, acting responsibly, making wise choices, showing respect, and being kind to others. Please help promote these goals by talking to your child about target behaviors at home. Ask your student about his or her point goal this week! |

November is Diabetes Awareness Month |
November is Diabetes Awareness Month! This is an important time to educate ourselves and show support for the many members of our school community who are impacted by diabetes.
To stand in solidarity with our students, staff, and families, we encourage everyone to wear blue on Friday, November 14th. Wearing blue is a simple yet powerful way to raise awareness and let those affected know they are not alone.
