Message from Principal Reed |
Dear Clay Hill Families,
February is Heart Month, and we are proud to raise our students' awareness of healthy practices such as exercise and smart dietary choices to ensure heart health! Our students will participate in the annual Kids Heart Challenge (AKA Jump Rope for Heart) tomorrow, February 23 (weather permitting), and earn funds to support the American Heart Association in their ongoing research to fight heart disease and heart-related illnesses, some of which hit home right here in our Clay Hill community and affect the everyday lives of our Bulldogs. Let’s work together to build strong hearts, healthy habits, and a supportive community!
While we stay focused on rigorous classroom instruction, we're looking forward to our annual K-2 and 3-5 Field Days, as well as Math Week at CHE in the next few weeks. Just three weeks remain before the end of the third quarter, so be sure to stay on top of your student's progress by checking grades in ParentVue and remaining attuned to teacher communication.
As always, thank you for your support of our staff and students! Without a doubt, it is our community's way of rallying around our school that makes it great! Adele Reed |

Congratulations, CHE Track Team! |
Under the coordination of Coach Stewart, Coach Byers, and Coach Benton, our scholar athletes rose to the challenge at yesterday's Elementary Track Meet at Middleburg High School! We are so proud of these students' accomplishments, and we're grateful for the parents and staff who supported them! Shout out to Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Byers, and Coach Benton for spending the last few weeks preparing the students for the competition, and to Mrs. Wright for being there to assist & cheer at the meet!
