Lakeside Elementary Principal Receives Florida Principal Leadership Award
In February, Lakeside Elementary Principal Dawn Wolfe was honored with the Florida Principal Leadership Award by Florida TaxWatch. She’s one of only five elementary principals in the state to receive this recognition. In addition, Principal Wolfe had the privilege of awarding a two-year Florida Prepaid College scholarship in partnership with the Florida Lottery to Logan, a sixth-grade student at Lakeside.

District Spelling Bee Winners!
After an impressive 11 rounds of competition, Aidan W. from Lakeside Junior High correctly spelled the championship word demulcent to claim the top spot!
Congratulations to our second-place finisher Isabella M. from Oakleaf Junior High and our third-place finisher Ania H. from Plantation Oaks Elementary.
We are so proud of all the incredible spellers who showcased their hard work and dedication at this year's spelling bee. Best of luck to Aidan as he moves on to the regional competition!
