Ms. Strickland is challenging every Bennett Bee to read nightly. Students can read and complete their reading log each week for a treat at lunch on Fridays. Each quarter, there will be a Reading Celebration for students who meet the quarterly goal. Students who meet the reading challenge for the 25-26 school year will be invited to a Bennett Readers Celebration.

CEB Hero — Mrs. Strickland is challenging all Bennett Bees to be at school, on time, and stay all day. Each month, CEB will have an attendance challenge. If students have perfect attendance for the month, then they will receive an invite to Fun Friday.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Arrival: Gates and breakfast open at 8:00 a.m. The tardy bell will ring at 8:30 a.m. If your student arrives after 8:30 a.m., then a parent will need to sign in their student.

Dismissal: Families must complete a Dismissal Form. To change the way a student is going home MUST be in writing. Emergencies can be emailed to loni.price@myoneclay.net with a picture of the parent's ID.

Transportation Information

Attention Parents/Guardians of bus riders! It's time to register your student(s) for transportation for the 2025-2026 school year!

If your child is moving to a new school, has changed their address, or is enrolled in a Summer School Program, registration will not be available until the week of July 14th.

Please note: We are excited to announce a NEW and improved way to track your student's bus! We will no longer be using the "Here Comes the Bus" app. Instead, we are transitioning to the Chipmunk app, which is fully integrated with our Bus Planner routing system that we already use. The Chipmunk app will provide you with accurate, real-time information about your student's bus location.
