OneClay Culture is an initiative to unify how schools and students are supported in the areas of positive behavior support, behavior interventions, mental health supports, character education, required instruction, and discipline practices through a focus on developing positive school and classroom cultures and building our student's resiliency skills.

For the 25-26 school year, CCDS schools will be highlighting practices and student instruction related to the 7 characteristics of a strong culture. These characteristics not only help schools and classrooms provide supportive environments, but are also the foundation for how we will introduce and practice key behavioral skills through our weekly required instruction lessons.

Students at all levels K-12 will have weekly lessons tied to each of the 7 culture characteristics that align with the Florida required instruction components. To see the state description of these required instruction components visit the FLDOE Required Instruction page.
